t was a spectacular evening that kept us saying "There's no place like home," with a night's end stand-off between rainbows and fireworks. (We were lucky enough to only have to dodge a few raindrops.)
Dinner served us well with Ag's smoked turkey, curried shrimp, burgers, chicken wings, Dot's cheesy potatoes (yum!) and a variety of salads and side dishes. Martine was surprised with a Happy Birthday serenade, and her favorite - strawberry shortcake - to celebrate her special day.
From horse and buggy rides to bush plane video on the Buck Off big screen, pool and fishing for the kids, there was an entertainment for every interest. Thank you Lance and Lori for the memorable 4th of July.
